1. Problems felt before receiving Rolfing (e.g., stiff shoulders, low-back pain):
- Low-back pain.
- Being swayed by others, so that my own axis wavered.
- Even while noticing that my personal axis was wavering, leaving myself to be swayed.
2. What was resolved (or noticed) after receiving the ten sessions of Rolfing:
- Improvement of low-back pain.
- The breath passes through well; I no longer breathe in a forced way that raises the shoulders.
- When breathing, I can feel the expansion of the back (I can hold awareness of my own back side).
- Whether in everyday life or when taking yoga asanas, I have become able to make a point of observing the body in fine detail.
- In linkage with my inner aspects, I can grasp the blockages and stagnations within my body for myself.
3. The kind of person this Rolfing work would be recommended to:
- Someone who wants to experience the wonder of the body.
- Someone who does yoga.
- Someone who wants to feel their own axis.
- Someone who wants to take a pleasant walk.
- Someone with pain somewhere.
- Someone who wants to taste a sensation different from the body so far.
- Someone who keeps receiving massage but finds it unsatisfying.
